A harness-side (HS) connector diagram is one where the pin numbering is as viewed from the wiring harness side. Imagine holding the wires and looking into the back of the connector, and that's how the numbering is.

It's the opposite of terminal-side (TS), which is where you are looking into the front of a connector.
