The CAN Gateway is a module in the ZE1 Nissan Leaf. It connects multiple CAN Buses together. It is described in the service manual as a 6 channel CAN gateway, implying that it can communicate on up to 6 CAN buses. However, wiring diagrams show 10 different CAN bus connections, so it must in some cases either act as both ends of a bus, or operate in the middle of a bus with connections in and out.
Location and access
The CAN Gateway is located behind the Combination Meter.

Connections
The CAN Gateway has a single 24-pin connector (M101) of type TH24FW-NH.[1]
