This device provides power to, and takes video input from, the four cameras, and outputs a video stream to the AV Control Unit.

Vehicle width guide lines, predicted course line, vehicle front guiding line and vehicle side line, and vehicle icon are rendered by the around view monitor control unit and combined with the camera image(s).
For vehicles equipped with ProPilot Park, this unit plays some role, the exact nature of which is not yet known.[1]
It is physically located next to the TCU, on the other side of the same bracket.
